Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day!

And, this is not my really fun 4th of July post...I actually didn't get it done and it's getting dark, so I can't do it tonight. I'll shoot for tomorrow. My idea is not strictly 4th of July. :)

PS. I made these outfits for my dolls last year!

Fireworks!

So on Friday night (well, and last night we could see some fireworks from our house) we went to the little village where I live to watch the fireworks! I took Rebecca with me to see. (I took Kit last year!)

Waiting for the fireworks to start!

Hiding in my bag! :)

It is hard to get good firework shots. These ones turned out OK.

More 4th of July fun to come!

Happy Memorial Day!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry posts have been few during the month of May. I will get better as soon as I finish school (not this Friday, but the next!!!!!)

I had planned to make a Memorial Day Photo Story today, but I'm really busy with painting my garage this weekend. So, instead, I dug up my Memorial Day photos from last year, when my dolls had a picnic.
Hanging up the sign.

Like her patriotic hat?

Putting up tables.

One Memorial Day tradition my dolls have is playing kickball.

Eating pizza!

The dress Kit is wearing is actually a baby dress of mine. :)

Happy Memorial Day!
Thanks to all the veterans and those currently serving our country!

Easter Tea

Well, the computer works again. But, unfortunately, this is my last post until May. I will have TONS of pictures and lots of fun things to show you when I start posting again then.
My dolls had an Easter Tea on Saturday to celebrate Easter before Ellen leaves. They wore fancy dresses and ate yummy treats!

Happy Easter!

Valentine Dance 2011

Tonight was the girl's school annual Valentine Dance!
Everyone was waiting for the dance to begin, promptly at 5:00pm.

Finally it was time, and the children (boys were invited too) lined up.

Several dances were done, some line dancing, and some in pairs or groups of 4. The dance above is sort of a tunnel dance.

When most of the dancing ended, everyone sat down for some refreshments and fellowship.

The boys in line for cookies!

Group Photo.

After everyone took pictures, whoever wished to danced the final dance.

Happy Valentine's Day!

PS. Sorry this is kind of late. I had a busy weekend and a busy Monday.

Valentine's Day Dresses

My Grandma gave my sister and I doll dresses for Valentine's Day. I thought I'd post some pictures of them.
This one is mine. Samantha is wearing it. One great thing, the jacket comes off, so you can use it with another outfit!

My favorite part, the lace around the bottom!

My sister put her doll, Victoria Marie, next to mine. She made the "jewelry" herself. :) Her dress from Grandma has huge cute hearts!!!

Thanks Grandma, for these festive dresses!

The Valentine's Room

Rebecca always gets really excited when Valentine's Day rolls around, so she decided to get out the Valentine's box and make a display in the empty corner where the Christmas tree was.

First she posted up some old Valentines.

And she made and put up a paper chain.

The room still needed something else.

Rebecca had an idea! She knew about an old display shelf in the closet. She dragged it into the Valentine Room, as she was now calling it.

She arranged the Valentine Mailboxes the girls made last year on top of it.

Then she moved the fancy table over by the wall.

"Hmm. What should I do with this ribbon?" She wondered.

A little adjusting...

And a perfect shelf!

Rebecca put on some other things to complete it.

The whole room.

Table and funny frog named Kiss.

Beautiful shelf.

And the paper chain!

Ellen adds her Valentine box to the collection this year. :)
