Fun Questions From Emma!

There's another blog party going on!!!! This one is Emma's from My American Girl. She has 30 followers today! I'm sure she'd love it if you followed her blog too!
She has fun questions for us to answer, as a part of the party.
  1.  Which do you like better; Apple or Cherry pie? Cherry
  2. What is your favorite thing to do over summer break? Read and swim!
  3. How many dolls (not only AG, any kind) do you own? Probably like 20, but I only have 7 AG dolls. (regular and bitty twins)
  4. Have you ever been to any of the American Girl Places or are you going to one over the summer? I have been to the Chicago AG place! It was last summer! It was GREAT! You should totally go, if you haven't before!
  5. Do you have any hobbies or things you like to do? Yep. Reading, sewing, dolls and blogging!
  6. What's your favorite TV show and/or movie? uhhh...I like AG movies. I also like Jane Austen movies, I'm not a huge movie watcher.
  7. What is your favorite color? RED
  8. What do you like about this blog and/or why did you follow it? I love Emma's blog because she's so fun and happy and because she does a lot of photos of her dolls. That's what I like to see! AND, I followed it to keep up with her more easily!

Hairstyles By Me

I was kind of bored this afternoon, so I created some of my very own hairstyles. Sorry the lighting and quality of these photos aren't so great. My closet has REALLY bad lighting.

Hairstyle 1: Twisty ponytail
1. Brush doll's hair smooth

2. Take two sections from the sides.

3. Twist them over each other once.

Now you have two options to finish it all off.

Option 1: Grab the rest of the hair and twist it all together and tie it off.

Option 2: Fold the two ends of the twist you made in step 3 underneath the rest of the hair and secure with a few bobby pins...

Like so. Looks braided, but it is not!!!!!

Hairstyle 2: Forehead Twist

Brush hair so that it is smooth.

Grab a small section.

Twist!

Grab another small section and twist it in with the other one.

Twist one more small section...
And secure with a clip!

Cute!

Hairstyle 3: Side clips

Just clip hair back on both sides for this style!

Hairstyle 4: Princess Puffs

1. Brush hair smooth. I already did 1 puff, so you get to watch me do puff two.

2. Get a section of hair.

3. Pull it forward, while twisting.

Pull it back and secure it to the other puff.

Fluff your puffs and blend in the part.

OPTIONAL:

Take a small section and wrap it around the remaining hair.

Secure with bobby pin!

Hairstyle 5: Half French Braid
1. Again, brush or hairpick hair smooth.

2. Get three little sections of hair, right by the face.

3. Start braiding.

4. When you bring a section toward the face, grab little more hair and add it to it.

5. Whenever you think the french part is long enough, stop half french braiding and start normally braiding.

6. Braid until you're out of hair!

7. Secure with a cool clip and fluff the curls!

So, what do you think? Which one do you like the best?

Funny Questions from Spicemuffin

Hi!
I just saw Spicemuffin's 100th post. I think that's great that she's posted so many times! I'm close...I am at 75. I'll be having a 100th post celebration sometime this summer! So anyway...click the blog sidebar button over there: ---------> and see her blog! It's a great one!
I decided, just for fun that I'd answer her funny questions:
. What are your plans for this summer? I plan to swim, swim and swim some more! I also got a bunch of classic books to read at a book sale yesterday. I hope to read as many as possible!
2. What's your favorite color? Red
3. Ice Cream or Cookie? Ice cream
4. How many dolls do you have? I have six! Rebecca, Ellen, Samantha, Molly, Emily (a Vision Forum doll) and Kit.
5. Would you rather have a landscaped front yard and horrible backyard, or a horrible front yard and landscaped back yard? Interesting question. Most likely, and neat front yard and a lousy back.

Just because I hate posting without a photo...here you are Spicemuffin! Happy 100th post! (those a presents from a party I had with my dolls.)

Day 9 of Rebecca's Challenge

Someone You Love:

My sister Samantha is the best one I could ask for. She's very loving, sweet and kind, and a great roomate. I love you, Samantha.
